Everything you need to know about renting and riding a scooter in Monaco

Once you have a confirmed booking, you simply come to our pick-up point at 14 Place Garibaldi at the agreed time with your documents and a payment card to secure the deposit. We will give you the scooter and gear. Returns take place the same way. If you chose the delivery option, we will bring the scooter to the specified location.

Always park on designated motorcycle parking spots (marked with “MOTO”). Lock the handlebar by turning it fully to the left and engaging the steering lock. Always use the lock or chain provided to secure the scooter to a fixed metal post or structure. Never park on sidewalks or private areas.

In case of a flat tire or mechanical issue, you can contact us and we will assist in arranging a replacement service. However, please note that flat tires and minor damage are the renter’s responsibility.

You can explore the entire French Riviera, including Monaco. However, riding more than 50 km away from Nice requires prior approval. Traveling to Italy is possible under additional conditions — please contact us in advance. Each vehicle’s allowed range is specified in the rental listing.

Yes, we can provide helmets for children. Please contact us in advance so we can prepare the right size for your little passenger.

Please be punctual, as our rental schedule is planned in advance. A delay of more than 30 minutes may result in an extra day charged. In case of unexpected issues, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help and consider exceptions individually.

Yes! If you wish to extend your rental, simply contact us via WhatsApp or phone as early as possible. We will check availability and confirm your extension.

In case of theft or serious damage, please:
- Immediately contact the local police or gendarmerie.
- Notify TWID MOTO within 24 hours.
- Provide us with an official police report.
- Until the vehicle is officially recovered, the renter remains responsible. Insurance conditions depend on your chosen coverage.

Yes, you can rent as long as your license clearly shows the appropriate driving category. For 50cc, category AM or B is required. For 125cc, category A1, A2, or A is needed. If your license is not in Latin characters, an official international driving permit may be required.

We operate every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Rentals are available only by prior reservation. Pick-up and drop-off take place at our pick-up point on Place Garibaldi. Please note: we do not have a physical shop.

No, we operate by reservation only. We do not have a physical shop with walk-in service.
All scooters must be booked in advance via our website, WhatsApp, Instagram or phone. The pickup location is accessible only with confirmed reservation.

Yes, cancellations are free of charge up to 48 hours before the rental start.
If you cancel later, your deposit is non-refundable. No-shows are considered cancellations without refund.

With the Fuel Service (€25), you can return the scooter with any fuel level. We’ll refuel it for you — fuel is included in the price.
No need to find a gas station or worry about filling the tank before return.

Yes, we provide delivery and pick-up:
• €30 within Nice
• €60 for locations outside Nice (including airport and Monaco) — select quantity 2 during booking.
Our team will meet you at the location you choose, at the scheduled time. Please make sure to be available.

Yes, we offer optional insurance packs for 125cc, electric scooters, and motorcycles. Choose from:
• Smart Cover (€12/day): Reduces deposit to €400, liability capped at €400
• Zero Cover (€20/day): Deposit €250, no liability (excludes accessories)
• Total Cover (€24/day): Deposit €150, no liability + accessories (helmet, gloves, lock, phone holder) included
These options are not available for 50cc petrol scooters, which remain fully under renter’s responsibility.
Important: Without an insurance package, you are fully financially responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle.

A security deposit is required and blocked on your credit or debit card at the time of pickup (not charged). The amount depends on the vehicle and selected insurance coverage:
• €1200 for 50cc and 125cc scooters without additional insurance
• Lower deposits available with insurance packs (from €400 to €150)
The deposit is automatically released after the vehicle is returned in good condition.

To rent a scooter or moto, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years for 50cc, 20+ for 125cc and larger models
- Valid driver’s license
- Passport or ID
- Bank card for the security deposit

Your rental includes:
- 1 certified helmet
- 1 pair of protective gloves
- Anti-theft lock or chain
- Smartphone holder
- USB-C charger
Everything you need to ride safely and comfortably is already included in the price.

Yes, a valid driving license is required:
- For 50cc scooters: Category B or AM
- For 125cc scooters: A1, A2, A or a 7-hour training certificate (for French residents only).
- Electric scooters follow the same rules as their petrol equivalents. Please make sure your license is valid for the chosen model.
